Join us for a conversation with Cathryn McClellan exploring the art of collecting, from what first draws us to a work to the ideas, experiences, and relationships that shape a collection over time. Drawing from her own experience as a collector and her involvement in the North Texas arts community, McClellan will share her perspective on collecting with intention, developing your eye, and finding meaningful connections through art.

McClellan is a co-founder of Black Arts DFW, an organization dedicated to connecting current and future collectors and patrons with Black art and culture across North Texas. Her work in the arts and community has focused on expanding access, encouraging engagement, and strengthening connections between artists, collectors, and patrons.

Whether you’re an established collector, just beginning, or simply curious about where to start, join us for an approachable conversation about building a collection that is meaningful to you.
